First, we need to clear up something because it's guaranteed to be the first question on everybody's lips. Admittedly Bellezo doesn't, technically, mean anything. The inspiration comes from the feminine of the French word 'belle' meaning beautiful, and...well. We thought it sounded cool with 'zo' on the end. That's it. But for us, it's come to mean a whole lot more and our aim is for it to mean a whole lot to you too. Happy now?
In my view Bellezo has always meant a lot more than simply 'beautiful' because we set out from the beginning to give the best online service that we possibly could. Not just any old service. The BEST. We believe that only by providing the best service and the best shopping experience will we continue to grow as a company.
the bellezo story
The Bellezo family has long standing tradition of working in the hair and beauty industry. The joke is we practically came out the womb with perfectly styled hair. Our founder started off a few years back with the help of his younger brother. They took over the back bedroom of the house and things grew from there. Their mission then was and of course still is, is to provide the best products with the best service coupled with a commitment to provide on hand hair and beauty advice. Such a philosophy granted us huge success almost immediately. Modest, right? But what was great for business was not great for the back bedroom, as the Bellezo operation had pretty much taken over the whole house.
We decided that, unlike most other online retailers, we wouldn't make an item for sale unless it was physically present to be shipped then and there. That kind of service means a bigger shipping and storage space. Enter the need for the new Bellezo warehouse... Plus our Mum wanted her house back.
We absolutely love serving our customers. We thrive on serving. We want bellezo.com to be known as a service company that happens to sell hair and beauty products. (Along with anything and everything we ever choose to sell.)
We put a lot of effort into making the website as close as possible to shopping in-store:
